Scholarship Application Deadline:  March 31, 2010 EXTENDED TO MAY 24, 2010

Orleans Technical Institute offers scholarships to high school seniors who show promise and who are interested in one of our building trade areas or court reporting. Scholarships are awarded by Orleans Technical Institute’s High School Scholarship Committee, which meets during the month of April 2010, after receiving all scholarship applications. This committee is comprised of members of the business and educational communities.

Orleans Technical Institute scholarships are awarded based on

• personal essay
• 3 letters of recommendation: 2 from school officials and 1 from an employer or family member
• results of the Career Programs Assessment Test, which is taken at Orleans to evaluate the applicant’s language, reading, and mathematical skills
• high school transcript

Orleans Technical Institute, Greater Philadelphia’s largest building trades school, proudly offers two full-paid scholarships each year to high school seniors who would like to pursue our career training program in one of the following trades:

• Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, & Heating
• Residential & Commercial Electricity

Orleans Technical Institute proudly offers a scholarship, which will assist you in paying half of the tuition, to a high school senior who is interested in pursuing our Associate in Specialized Business degree program in Court Reporting.
